The Story Behind ROKA London

ROKA London began with a rain soaked moment in the heart of London.

In 2014, founders Emma and Brett met whilst Emma was travelling abroad with her family. Their relationship soon brought Brett from sunny climates to the famously unpredictable British weather.

One day, while exploring Oxford Street with his trusty backpack, the weather quickly turned into a classic London downpour. By the time Brett arrived home, both he and everything inside his bag were soaked.

That experience sparked an idea.

With more than 20 years of experience in fashion and retail, Brett began designing bags that could withstand the elements while still looking stylish and practical.

And so ROKA London was born.

By blending Emma and Brett's surnames, ROsenberg and KAtz, the name ROKA was created -- representing trust, integrity and a positive outlook on life.
